Audo Copenhagen Knitting chair, leather
Knitting Chair, designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen in 1951, is a cleverly designed lounge chair relaunched by the Danish Menu. A combination of an airy oak frame and aniline leather seat, Knitting Chair breathes the playful lightness of mid-20th-century modernism from every angle. The chair was named for the elbow cut-outs designed to provide maximum comfort for knitting, reading, etc. Menu has released a limited edition of 99 individually engraved chairs of Knitting Chair under the Modernism Reimagined collection.
